Gabriela Lara is a seasoned Product Designer with over 8 years of experience in the technology industry. She started her career in software development but eventually found her passion for user experience design. Gabriela currently works as a Mid Product Designer at olist, where she is responsible for creating logistics products for e-commerce merchants in Latin America. She solves complex problems in the operation and shipping of orders to optimize merchants' time and simplify their entire operation. Gabriela is a strong advocate for female visibility in the tech industry and encourages girls to pursue careers in technology. She has a diverse skill set and can collaborate on various projects, including UX/UI design, product design, research, service design, strategy design, design thinking, coding, and behavioral design. In her current role at olist, Gabriela conducts quantitative and qualitative research, creates wireframes, user flows, navigable prototypes, benchmarking, and design handoff with the squad's developers. She contributes significantly to the design system and the documentation of playbooks and design processes. Before joining olist, Gabriela worked as a Mid Product Designer at trizy, where she managed and executed several B2C and B2B products and by-products using a lean design process. She also worked as a Junior Product Designer at trizy, where she participated in UX research and strategies, ideation of increments and new product features, UI prototyping, usability specialist, QA, and DEV support. Gabriela holds a Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering from the Universidade Estadual de Ponta Grossa and a Technology degree in Systems Analysis and Development from UniCesumar. She is currently pursuing a Postgraduate Lato Sensu - Specialization in User Experience Design and Beyond from the Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio Grande do Sul. Gabriela's tech stack includes designer, product designer, research scientist, UI, software engineer, and QA.
