Ganesh A Rao is a highly experienced engineering leader with over 20 years of varied engineering experience in the realms of Data Storage, Data protection, Data Tiering, Cloud Storage, object store, Disaster Recovery, Backup, Replication, snapshots, deduplication, Filesystems, Virtualization, SAN, NAS, NFS, operating Systems, and Security. He is currently serving as an Engineering Leader/Product Leader at Huawei Technologies, where he has been instrumental in building and scaling high-performing R&D teams by directly managing global diverse teams. Ganesh has a proven track record of delivering high-value products using agile and SAFe methodologies. He has over 15 years of product leadership experience in building, hiring, and scaling high-performing R&D teams. He has also worked with IBM and NetApp in the past, where he has served as an Engineering Leader-Technology and Management, leading/mentoring/managing a team of highly skilled engineers for Flexgroup snapmirror product-a unified disaster recovery and backup product for a distributed container/filesystem.
