Gargi Biswas is a highly experienced Principle Software Engineer with a strong background in the Fin-tech space. She holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science and a Master of Science in Physics from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani. With over 9 years of relevant experience, Gargi has worked with top companies such as ICICI Bank, Oracle, and eBay. Currently, Gargi is working with ICICI Labs as a Principle Software Engineer. In this role, she has demonstrated her expertise in software engineering, web development, and backend integration. She has gained technical expertise over various programming languages such as Java, Python, and Javascript. She has also worked with various databases such as MongoDB, Postgres, and Redis. Gargi has a strong understanding of microservices, DevOps, and AWS. Prior to ICICI Labs, Gargi worked with Oracle as a Senior Application Engineer. In this role, she was responsible for outbound integration and tax partner solutions. She gained expertise over the Financial Tax module at Oracle and worked extensively on web services, Java, and BI. Gargi also worked with eBay as a Data Analyst Intern. In this role, she developed an end-to-end interactive dashboard and a Heat Map on Tableau Platform that tabulated ballpark values of performance metrics for the View Item Page on eBay’s Website. Gargi is a highly skilled engineer with a demonstrated history of delivering quality work. She has a strong understanding of machine learning and neural networks.
