Gaurang Tapase is a highly experienced Software Engineer with over 12 years of experience in the industry. He is currently working with DDN Storage as a Software Engineer, where he is responsible for developing and integrating software solutions for the company's storage systems. With his expertise in Swift and Integration, he has been able to deliver high-quality software solutions that meet the company's requirements. Prior to joining DDN Storage, Gaurang worked with IBM as a Staff Software Engineer and Software Engineer. During his tenure at IBM, he worked on several projects, including the integration of IBM Spectrum Scale with OpenStack storage components like Cinder/Manila/Swift. He also worked on developing an Object Storage system for REST-based access to data in IBM Scale Out NAS. Additionally, he enabled AFM (Active File Management based on IBM GPFS aka Spectrum Scale) over an embedded NAS storage system on IBM Storwize. Gaurang holds a B.Tech degree in Computer Science & Engineering from the College of Engineering Pune. He has a strong technical background and is proficient in various technologies related to software engineering. He has also held positions as a Senior Software Engineer in the past.
