Gaurav Agarwal is a Vice President and Head of SW Product, Engineering, and AI at Ola Electric. As a member of the executive team, he is driving the next generation of the EV revolution, leveraging his hands-on experience in all aspects of mobility, including connected, shared, electric, fleet, and autonomous. With an in-depth understanding of the end-to-end ecosystem, Gaurav has the experience to build and lead large international teams of over 200 people. He has grown and managed businesses with over $100M in sales and filed 10+ US patents. Currently, Gaurav is working as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Maryland. His publications include "First Steps Toward an Electronic Field Guide for Plants" and "A method of dynamic cropping and resizing of video frames in DVB-H to Mobile." Gaurav has worked at Texas Instruments as a Lead Application Engineer, where he led interactions with customers to troubleshoot issues, released new devices to the market, and gathered requirements for the next product. He also managed an engineering team that expanded the market potential of a highly successful "voice gateway" product with over 70% market share to adapt to the enterprise gateway market, achieving a team revenue impact of approximately $25M per year. He has also worked as a Product Manager and Business Development Manager at Texas Instruments, where he identified growth opportunities and converted prospects into revenue-generating business. Gaurav holds an MS in Electrical Engineering (Computer Vision) from the University of Maryland. He has a tech stack that includes AI and product management, and he has relevant experience of 17.87 years.
