Gaurav Agarwal is a dynamic and entrepreneurial CEO with a passion for bridging credit access disparity through technology. He is currently the Co-Founder and CEO of FinStack, a company that is building a one-stop solution for all API integrations that a BFSI company needs to become a fintech powerhouse. The unique product offering of FinStack is its no-code journey builder, which allows digitization without having to hire a single engineer. Gaurav has a wealth of experience in the technology industry, having worked as a Software Developer at PhonePe, where he was responsible for handling an average of 50 requests per second every day with peaks of 50 million transactions per day. He also automated the addition and updating of biller details as per NPCI and BBPS MDMs, reducing the TAT for biller onboarding on the platform from multiple days to a few seconds. He engineered the solution to integrate BBPS single-click paylinks, spearheading PhonePe to be the first BBPS customer operating unit COU to do so. Before joining PhonePe, Gaurav was a Founder in Residence at Entrepreneur First (EF), a micro VC that invests $55,000 for 10% equity in early-stage startups on a right of first reject basis through their incubator cohort. Gaurav is a graduate of Savitribai Phule Pune University, where he earned a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering. He also holds an Indian School Certificate from St. Jude's School, Dehradun. Gaurav is a highly skilled Software Engineer with expertise in Backend, Azure, AWS, Web, Docker, Java, SQL, Microservices, Django, Flask, and Python.
