Gaurav Aidasani is a highly experienced graduate student at the University of Southern California with a passion for software development and machine learning. He is a hard-working and enthusiastic individual who is always eager to experiment with new technologies. With a background in Computer Science and Engineering, Gaurav has gained extensive experience in Go, Python, and C++. Currently working as a Software Engineer at EagleView, Gaurav has developed and designed quality software to store, handle, and supply terabytes of imagery using micro-services architecture, Kubernetes, AWS, Go, and Python. He has implemented bilinear interpolation to strategically improve data accuracy while maintaining performance targets and implemented a data pipeline to clean, prepare, and process images to train a Computer Vision model. Gaurav has also worked as a Machine Learning Intern at L&T, where he developed a Machine learning-based document analysis API to analyze contracts and identify legal terms and risks. This led to reducing the document tagging time by 90%. He also created an automation tool to convert handwritten text to digital text, reducing human input and minimizing unforeseen errors. As a Software Development Intern at L&T, he designed and developed the first Chatbot for L&T using Microsoft Azure Services to help resolve technical difficulties, reducing the resolution time for issues by over 50% and also reducing the workload on the IT team. Gaurav is a Master's degree student at the University of Southern California, where he is pursuing his degree in Computer Science. He completed his Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science and Engineering from IIT in 2020. His tech stack includes Software Engineering, ML, AWS, Python, Computer Vision, infra, Kubernetes, and Microservices.
