Gaurav Bothra is an experienced Applications Developer with a focus on DevOps tools and Agile Methodologies. With close to 4 years of experience in the banking domain, Gaurav has a keen interest in learning new technologies that can be used in the future. He is proficient in working with DevOps tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, Git, Jenkins, etc. and always strives to use his current skills and learn new techniques to provide solutions to complex problems using them. Currently working as an Applications Developer 2 at Oracle, Gaurav is responsible for creating and setting up Development/QA environments from scratch on Oracle Weblogic 12.2.1.4, 14.1.1 using Oracle Banking Microservices Architecture. He has experience in working with Source Code Management (SCM) server and client tools like Git, Gradle and has taken up key responsibilities in code coverage, deployments, and interfacing with cross-module teams across Oracle Banking Branch. Gaurav has also taken the initiative in scripting several manual tasks in the development lifecycle and has implemented in-house and CA-signed SSL certs. He has created Jenkins pipelines for build & automated deployments on WebLogic environments. Gaurav has previously worked as an Associate Application Developer at Oracle where he worked with CASA (Current and Savings Accounts) module in OBP through complete releases 2.7, 2.7.1, 2.7.1.1, and 2.12 of the product along with providing support to older releases. He has designed various CASA functionalities such as Convenience Offering, Repayment Instructions, Delinquency tracking, Statistics & Credit Bureau reporting and has led the Code componentization activity for the complete 2.12 release along with providing support to DevOps/QA teams for successful daily builds, deployments, and testing. Gaurav has also worked on database componentization activity for CASA module for the 2.12 release and has led the complete code merge activity from 2.7.1.2 to 2.12 for the product. Gaurav holds a Master of Computer Applications degree from VIT and a Bachelor of Computer Applications degree from Chitkara University. He has also completed his SSC from Meenakshi Public School and HSC from Lions Public School. Gaurav's tech stack includes Microservices, AWS, DevOps, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, qa, and test.
