At Wipro, Gaurav worked as a Lead Engineer- Data Engineering for Capital One, Richmond, Virginia, where he developed a streaming data analytics platform using Kafka & RabbitMQ data streaming solutions and sync the data into S3 data lake. He played a significant role in creating frameworks using Spark/Scala, partnering with the enterprise architecture team to create a scalable enterprise streaming data platform, and creating a data virtualization layer using Cerebro connecting datasets sitting across different AWS accounts. Gaurav was recognized as a Capital One Cloud Front Award winner for his significant contribution towards Cloud Engineering space.
