Gaurav Gupta is a highly skilled Principal Architect with over 14 years of relevant experience in the software development industry. He is currently working at FarEye, where he holds the position of Principal Architect. Gaurav has a strong technical background and possesses expertise in various programming languages such as Java, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Ruby, Bash, and SQL. He is also proficient in working with different frameworks including Spring, Hibernate, and Rails. Gaurav has extensive experience in working with databases such as MongoDB and Postgresql and has worked with servers like Mule and Nginx. He is well-versed in using various tools such as Maven, subversion, Jenkins, and Chef. He has introduced many new technologies to the team, including AngularJS, Spring Boot, JPA, ElasticSearch, and RabbitMQ, and has trained both existing and new team members. Gaurav has also introduced unit testing to the team and has helped the team to write unit tests with a code coverage of 70-80%. He has added new features that have enabled the product to cater to various segments of industries, including Business Process Management (BPM) and Dynamic data store. Gaurav has also worked as VP Technology at Fareye, where he architected a new version of Fareye and led the development. He and his team of six developers wrote the whole product from scratch and made it live in less than three months. The new version is a generic platform that can fit into different industries' use cases by just changing the configuration. Before joining Fareye, Gaurav worked as a Team Lead at Josh Technology Group. He led the development of multiple products that provide solutions for untapped markets in TV advertising. He also worked on the development of Admoshpere, a product used by customers to leverage weather information for targeted advertising.
