Gaurav Joshi is a seasoned Sr. Pre-sales Engineer with over 14 years of experience in the IT industry. He is currently working at Citrix as a Sr. Pre-sales Engineer for Apps and Cloud Security, where he is responsible for running solution presentations, tech deep dives, demos, and POCs. He also prepares solution proposals and business cases, engages with channel partner enablement and customer webinars, and assists with GTM strategies. Gaurav is a technical thought leader who influences product and service sales through business development activities. He supports business opportunities through the development, documentation, and presentation of proposals encompassing technical concepts, architectures, and prototypes. Before joining Citrix, Gaurav worked as a TAC engineer for multiple technologies, including routing, switching, and data center, for about 6 years. He has also served as an L4 for HP's client Symantec as a dedicated Network operations core engineer responsible for routine tasks of planning, designing, and upgrading sites through uplift/remediation/regular change processes along with maintenance with respect to daily operational incidents. Gaurav has taken care of high priority escalations for networking product group Citrix, which includes NetScaler, NetScaler Gateway, SDWAN, WanOp, Command Center, VDI, XenApp/Xenservers. Gaurav's past experiences also include working at Mphasis as a Sr. Principle Infrastructure Engineer, where he was a dedicated resource for Symantec Account (Network core team) responsible for ‘in and outs’ of the entire Symantec Network infrastructure involving Routers, switches, load-balancers, wan optimizers and firewalls. He consulted and liaised with internal Cisco clients on the most complex issues, especially dealing with zero outage application migrations in high-density data center environments. He was also an L4 Escalation for Symantec’s NOC (Located in Kuala Lumpur). Gaurav holds an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management, Kozhikode, and a degree in Physics (H) from Delhi University. He has a diverse tech stack that includes product management, senior software engineering, and infra. Gaurav is a result-oriented individual who is passionate about understanding the customer’s business and developing technology strategies to achieve business objectives.
