Gaurav Pandole is an Assistant Vice President and Technical Lead for the Cards and Payments Team at Barclays. With over 10 years of experience in Android and Java development, he has worked in the BFSI, Insurance, and Social domains. Currently, Gaurav's major role at Barclays is as an End to End developer, where he implements android applications with back-end development and promotes the app in the cloud through CI/CD pipelines, following TDD and Agile methodologies. He has developed applications using Java, Android, Spring Boot, and JUnit, and has worked on CI/CD using Jenkins pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes, and Openshift. In his previous role as a Senior Software Engineer at Zensar, Gaurav analyzed and designed the architecture of Android applications within the Zensar ecosystem. He also developed libraries for reusable components and worked on authentication techniques like OAuth, SSL pinning, hashing, and digital signature. Additionally, he worked on Firebase infrastructure. As a Senior Android Developer at N-Gage India Marketing Pvt Ltd, Gaurav developed 22 projects of various categories related to media, contacts, camera, social, and communication. He also has experience handling teams and a solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle. Gaurav holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Information Technology from PG Moze College of Engineering in Pune. He also completed his HSC in Science from Bhausaheb Firodia Highschool in Ahmednagar.
