Gaurav Raj is a seasoned sales professional with over six years of corporate experience. He has a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Don Bosco and an MBA in Marketing from NMIMS Mumbai. Gaurav's last professional stint was managing sales for fast moving consumer durable products at Casio in the north region. Gaurav embarked on his entrepreneurial journey two years ago with the launch of Morning Owl, a natural latex mattress and related products venture. His vision was to make healthy sleep accessible and affordable by offering 100% natural products that are pure and free from toxic material. All Morning Owl products are certified natural and are backed by a strong supply chain, delivering them directly from the factory to the customer's doorstep. Gaurav's experience in sales and marketing has been instrumental in establishing Morning Owl as a successful D2C brand. Under his leadership, Morning Owl has seen significant growth in revenue, with a reported revenue of INR 1.5 crore in FY21. The brand has also been featured in Inc42's "30 Startups to Watch" list in June 2021. Prior to his entrepreneurial journey, Gaurav worked as an Area Sales Manager at Casio India and as a Digital Strategy Consultant at Deloitte. At Deloitte, he evaluated sales opportunities for an IoT application in healthcare and explored IoT applications in upstream petroleum industry. Gaurav's education background and relevant experience make him a valuable asset to any organization. He has a strong understanding of sales, marketing, and entrepreneurship, and has demonstrated his ability to lead and grow a successful business.
