Gaurav Ranjan is an experienced Lead Software Engineer with a passion for product engineering. He is currently working as an Engineering Manager at Urban Company, where he takes complete ownership of the projects he works on. With 9.45 years of relevant experience, Gaurav has worked on a diverse set of problems ranging from financial market products to building things from scratch single-handedly, to freelancing and scaling things at a mid-level startup. Gaurav's tech stack includes NodeJs, JAVA, PHP, Python, C#, MongoDb, MySQL, Docker, React (Redux), AngularJs, and he is always looking to learn and scale new technologies. He is a firm believer in failing fast and picking up to run again, which has helped him become a passionate product engineer. Gaurav's past experiences include working as an SDE III at Urban Company and as a Lead Software Engineer at Practo. He has a Bachelor of Technology (Honours) (B.Tech) degree in Information Technology from IIIT-Allahabad and completed his high school education from St. Dominic Savio College. In addition to his technical skills, Gaurav is a team player who believes in collaborating with his peers to achieve the best results. He has worked as a Senior Software Engineer and Software Engineer and has expertise in MySQL, MongoDB, PHP, Docker, Redux, NodeJS, AWS, Python, Java, Kubernetes, New Relic, Javascript, Typescript, Elastic Search, Spring Boot, Spring, and Backend.
