Gaurav Srivastava is a Final year Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) student majoring in Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) at Manipal University Jaipur, India. He is a highly motivated and passionate individual with a strong interest in empowering machines by developing meaningful insights from images and videos with Computer Vision, Deep Learning, and Machine Learning. Gaurav's primary research objective and interest include combining mathematical theorems to enhance neural network convergence, meta-heuristic-based optimization, improving feature extraction and selection, and more. Gaurav has an impressive track record of accomplishments, including published papers in Quartile-1 Journals, being the first author of 5 Journal Papers (with more in the pipeline), co-authoring 2 Journal Papers, and presenting 6+ Conference papers (with more in the pipeline). He has also won 2X Hackathons and was an All India Finalist of 5X Hackathons. Additionally, Gaurav has mentored students in Randomize and Codechef Student Chapter MUJ. Currently, Gaurav works as a Research Scientist (Applied Research - CV) at Swiggy. Previously, he has worked as an Artificial Intelligence Mentor and Deep Learning Mentor at Edu-versity.
