Gijo John is a highly experienced Specialist in Testing with over 17 years of relevant experience. Currently working at FIS (formerly SunGard) as a Specialist in Testing, he is responsible for automating the web client of a financial services firm. He has extensive experience in performance testing using JMeter and LoadRunner, as well as functional testing. Prior to his current role, Gijo worked at Quinnox as a Test Lead and Individual Contributor, where he was responsible for automating various tracks of Finacle use by State Bank of Mauritius. He also worked as an Automation Lead for HSBC, where he created a Java automation framework for regression runs for different Primary Trading Systems. In addition, he created an automation framework in QTP for backend processes for foreign exchange and money market transactions. Gijo's experience also includes working as a Senior QA Engineer at ECMi, where he tested product APIs using JUnit tests and automated test suites using QTP. He has a strong educational background, having earned a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Mumbai and completed additional coursework at C-DAC.
