Girish Parthasarathy is a Senior Software Engineer at Microsoft Bangalore with over 14 years of experience in the software industry. He has a versatile knowledge across various domains such as Convergence, IoT, Streaming, Vision SDKs for Android platform. Girish is a strong data structures and algorithms expert and is also proficient in Java multi-threading. He is very passionate about solving challenges and problems faced in day-to-day life with the help of technology. Girish is also interested in leading and mentoring other engineers. Currently, Girish is taking a leadership role for the Calendar feature in Teams(Android) at Microsoft. In the past, he has worked as a Senior Chief Engineer at Samsung, where he worked on multimedia applications, mobile convergence protocols, and streaming solutions. He has sound knowledge and hands-on experience in Android & Java. Girish has also worked as a Senior Software Engineer at PathPartner Technology, where he designed and developed the Skype application. He was also responsible for the Engadget cover update of its demo @ MWC-11, Barcelona. Girish holds a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) degree in Computer Science from Marian Engineering College. He also completed his Plus two in Computer Science from Govt. Model Higher Secondary School and his SSLC (10th) in Mathematics and Computer Science from Christ Nagar, Trivandrum. Girish's tech stack includes Software Engineering, Android, Java, and Mobile. He is an expert in his field and has a passion for using his knowledge to solve real-world problems.
