Girish Sadhani is a passionate, self-driven, and results-oriented engineer with over 15 years of experience in architecture, design, and development of scalable, extensible, cloud-native software systems. Currently, he is working as a Staff Engineer in VMware Tanzu Mission Control Engineering, where he is responsible for designing and building new microservices in the cloud-native, centralized management platform for Kubernetes infra and modern applications. Girish has extensive experience in working with Kubernetes, GoLang, Java, gRPC, REST, Distributed Systems, Microservices, AWS, Azure, Terraform, SaaS, and PaaS. He has implemented several new features including Cluster Connectivity, Data Protection, Cluster Inspections, User Notifications, and Usage Metering while leading a team of 8 engineers. Before joining VMware, Girish worked as a Senior Consultant at IBM, where he was responsible for consulting customers on the deployment of IBM's Sterling Order Management System. He also served as an Automation Engineer at Sandvine, where he developed several test tools and features in the Test Automation Framework. Girish holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electronics & Communications from Ramaiah Institute of Technology and a degree in Computer Science from St. Joseph's Pre-University College. He also completed his HSC in Science from Kendriya Vidyalaya. Apart from his work, Girish is proficient in various technologies such as Kubernetes, Microservices, AWS, Terraform, Azure, infra, Golang, Java, test, and SDET. He is a dedicated and skilled professional who is always eager to learn and grow in his field.
