Harshad Lasure is a Vice President at HDFC Life and an ex-Management Consultant with over 15 years of experience in various sectors, including banking, manufacturing, consumer goods, media, government, and technology. He holds an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore and a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electronics & Telecommunications from the Government College of Engineering, Pune. Harshad has set up a new team, Ecosystem Solutions, within HDFC Life, which focuses on the FinTech, InsurTech, and startup space. This intrapreneurial role has given him valuable experience in corporate strategy, digital strategy, business development, relationship management, business transformation, sales effectiveness, product management, program management, change management, business planning, and process improvement. Harshad has also worked as a Management Consultant at PwC, where he gained experience across various sectors. He worked with the leadership team on the design and deployment of short-term and long-term strategic business objectives, participated in monthly business reviews, and created business overview presentations for quarterly board meetings. He also provided inputs on organization goals to business planning, F&A, and other functional teams. Harshad has undertaken market and financial analysis of key competitors and identified areas for improvement. Harshad's technical skills include product management, and he has worked across multi-disciplinary teams using a Minimum Viable Product (MVP) based approach. He has led and managed the full product lifecycle, from conceptualization to providing specifications, and has worked in an agile manner with an intrapreneurial setup. Harshad has built Retirement Platform (www.life99.in) for the Indian market from scratch, with no precedence, within one year. He has also led New Zeal, a model in senior-care space, similar to “Honor” (www.joinhonor.com) and developed the business model.
