Harshit Kumar Sankhla is an Autonomy Software Engineer-2 at Ola Electric, with 3.69 years of relevant experience in the field. He is a Research Scholar at the Robotics Research Centre, IIIT Hyderabad, where he is pursuing his Master of Science by Research degree in Robotics Research Center. Harshit has a Bachelor’s degree in Mechatronics Engineering from the LNM Institute of Information Technology, where he was a Gold Medalist. He has a strong technical background and is proficient in software engineering, Python, C, AI, and research. Harshit has previously worked as a Robotics Software Engineer at Rupeek, where he was responsible for building Robotics and AI-based products for automating different processes of gold loan disbursals, such as appraisal, stone deduction, storage, and retrieval. He has also worked as a Robotics Software Intern at Black Coffee Robotics, where he developed and deployed modules for localization and control for various advanced industrial robotic systems. Harshit has also participated in the Google Summer of Code 2020 program at ArduPilot, where he worked on developing a new and improved system for controlling drones. In his current role at Ola Electric, Harshit is responsible for developing autonomous driving software for electric vehicles. He is passionate about the field of robotics and is committed to making a positive impact in the industry. Harshit is a quick learner, a team player, and has excellent problem-solving skills.
