Harshit Pandey is a seasoned software engineer with over 12 years of experience in building and defining distributed platforms at scale. He is a problem solver and a passionate developer who is currently working on areas involving query understanding, spell-correction, and user-intent. Harshit is proficient in various programming languages such as Java, C++, C, Scala, and Python. He also has expertise in object-oriented programming design methodology. Currently working as a founding member at wetrade, Harshit is responsible for handling end-to-end engineering for the backend and infra of the platform. He is also involved in developing payment/trading constructs, data pipelines, and other user experience constructs. Before joining wetrade, Harshit worked as an SDE IV at Flipkart, where he was responsible for query semantics and search-query understanding. He designed and built orchestration flows to onboard query understanding flows and scaled the entire tech stack. He also identified the right metrics for evaluating the success of the components and built the right tooling around the same. Harshit was also responsible for user profile management and worked on identifying the next best intent for which the products can be presented to the user. Harshit completed his Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from VIT in 2010. He has a strong technical background and is proficient in various tech stacks such as software engineering, web3, backend, infra, Python, Scala, Java, and search. Harshit's expertise in building and defining distributed platforms at scale makes him an asset to any organization.
