Harshita Makhija is a seasoned Product Manager with over 9 years of experience in the software industry. She is currently working as a Product Manager at paisawapas, where she is responsible for driving growth and implementing design thinking principles to enhance the user experience. Prior to paisawapas, Harshita worked at Misys as an Associate Software Engineer. During her time there, she was part of the Millennials Initiative Team and worked with some of the world's top banks. Her responsibilities included completing product development as per requirements, gathering business requirements, and writing functional specifications. She also mentored junior members of the team and was responsible for bug fixing and maintenance of the product. Harshita's experience at Misys allowed her to develop a deep understanding of the software development lifecycle and honed her skills in design, estimation, and development of various modules. Before joining Misys, Harshita worked as a System Engineer at Infosys. She was also introduced to manual testing, test script generation, test case execution, and test automation. Harshita holds a Product Management Certification from upgrad and a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science from Walchand Institute of Technology.
