Hemant Rajput is a highly motivated and enthusiastic Lead Engineer at Couchbase, with over 11 years of experience in software development and testing. He is currently heading the automation testing for the Couchbase Indexing services, where he has successfully migrated Indexing services from bucket to collections architectural change. Hemant has also delivered enterprise features such as Greedy Planner, 10k Indexing, Smart Batching, Auto-failover for Couchbase Indexing service. In addition, Hemant has developed Couchbase Mobile testing app for the revamp of Couchbase Lite architectural changes. He has also developed automation tests for CBLite for query engine, P2P sync, DB Encryption, Custom Conflict Resolution. Hemant has headed the automation testing for .Net and Android platforms for CBLite as well. Prior to joining Couchbase, Hemant worked as a Senior Member of Technical Staff at D.E. Shaw Co. and as a Software QA Engineer at McAfee. At McAfee, he was the sole owner of Penetration Testing (Core Impact, TELUS, and Metasploit) and Intrusion Prevention System (HIPs). Hemant was responsible for the release of Network IPS signature and the testing of protection of exploitation of MS SQL server. He also developed a tool for exploiting vulnerability in Microsoft services and registry and was responsible for HIPs support release of protection against exploitation for Microsoft Windows 8. Hemant holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Computer Science from r.g.t.u and B.E. in Computer Science from truba. He also completed H.S.S and H.S from s.g.t.b.p. Hemant has a diverse tech stack that includes Senior Software Engineer, test, P2P, Software Engineer, Android, Mobile, qa, and SQL.
