Herpreet Singh is a Technical Architect with over 18 years of experience in M2M Industrial Automation, Automotive Domain, and Embedded Systems. He is currently working at Grey Orange, where he is involved in the Goods to Person Butler system product development of warehouse robotics with a vision to automate warehousing experience. Herpreet has extensive experience in developing Automotive Infotainment Systems, protocols (CAN 2.0B, KWP2000, SAE J1979, SAE J1939, CANopen, ISO 9141-2, ISO 11783-6), and Vehicle diagnostic tools. He has also worked on Xilinx FPGA and Cypress USB Microcontroller based Data Acquisition Systems for Automobile. Herpreet has a good understanding and experience of working with communication protocols like Bluetooth, WiFi, GSM, GPS, USB, SPI, I2C, and UART. He has hands-on experience of working with embedded development kits from TI, Freescale, Renesas, Cypress, Infineon, and Microchip. Herpreet has worked on development experience on Windows, Linux, Android, and uItron. He is well versed with SEI CMMi and Agile Methodology of Software development and has excellent knowledge of all stages of the Software Development Life Cycle Models. Herpreet has worked with altran as a Principal System Engineer, where he was involved in product development of M2M domain catering to transportation, energy management, and Industrial Automation domains. He also worked with DCM Technologies as a Software Engineer, where he got a chance to work on embedded technologies and specifically on Automotive Domain. Herpreet has a Post Graduate Diploma in VLSI Design and System Programming from the Centre for Development of Advance Computing, Noida, and a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Electronics and Communications Engineering from Lingaya's Institute of Management & Technology (Affiliated to MDU, Rohtak). In addition to his technical expertise, Herpreet has good interpersonal and communication skills. He has provided engineering support (technical interview) to Internal HR Hiring team for campus recruitments and worked with the Organization’s Learning and Development team to impart classroom training sessions on Hiring process, Embedded Systems, Automotive Protocols (CAN & OBD-II), and C++ programming language.
