Himanshu Dhamija is a Senior SDET at Agoda with over 8 years of experience in leading testing activities and developing automation frameworks in an Agile team. He has worked across multiple domains including Telecom, Advertising, e-Discovery, Payments, and RMM, and has sound experience in product-based organizations from gathering requirements to the final release of the product. Himanshu is proficient in automation utilities and feasibility checks for automation of AUT, and his skillset includes Automation frameworks, QA Lead in an Agile scrum/pod, Selenium 3.x, Rest Assured, Appium, Maven, Cucumber, Jenkins and Jenkins Pipeline scripting, and GIT version control. His favorite tools, frameworks, and languages include Selenium WebDriver, RestAssured, GIT, Appium, Maven, SQL, Jenkins, Java, Design patterns, Data Structures, and Algorithms. Currently, Himanshu is working at Agoda as a quality advocate in the scrum and managing CI/CD working on the latest DevOps tech stack. He has also worked as a Lead SDET at situsamc, where he added self-healing scripts functionality, refactored the automation framework, introduced Jenkins to run scripts across 15 Kubernetes nodes in parallel, removed dependency amongst tests, and improved the script to include test cases similar to git interactive add feature in TestNg. He has also worked as an SDE-2 at Stanza Living, where he built an automation team and increased test coverage from NIL to 70%, developed processes to support in-sprint test automation of features with 100% automation development and testing completion rate with correct estimations of tasks, extensively worked on invoices and payments, scaled tests using Docker containers and Kubernetes clusters, and created a strategy for the CI/CD pipeline by using GIT web hook (pull request) with Jenkins jobs downstream jobs integrating automation test reports with Slack. Himanshu holds an Engineer’s Degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering from PTU and a High School degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from Dayanand Anglo Vedic Collegiate, Punjab University. His relevant experience in the field of test, software engineering, SDET, Jenkins, Selenium, SQL, CI/CD, QA, Java, Kubernetes, DevOps, Docker, Microservices, and Web is 8.19 years.
