Himanshu Gupta is a highly motivated and skilled researcher with a passion for improving large language models. He is currently pursuing a Masters in Computer Science at Arizona State University, where he is a Graduate Research Assistant in the Cognition and Intelligence Labs, working under the guidance of Professor Chitta Baral. His research interests lie in open set authorship attribution, numerical commonsense reasoning, and instructional learning of LLMs. Prior to his current position, Himanshu worked as an AI Researcher at American Express AI Labs in India, where he was a part of the Document AI and AI Products teams. His work focused on zero-shot information extraction and graph gated attention networks. He also has experience as a software development intern at American Express. Himanshu graduated from the Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani (BITS Pilani) with a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering. He has a strong background in programming, with expertise in Python, machine learning, and natural language processing. He is also skilled in Elastic Search and has experience working as a software engineer. With 2.36 years of relevant experience, Himanshu is now looking for full-time opportunities to further develop his skills and contribute to cutting-edge research in improving large language models. He is particularly interested in fine-tuning LLMs using small datasets and open set authorship attribution.
