Himanshu M. is a highly motivated and skilled Software Engineer at Ciena with a passion for using Data Science to solve complex problems and make a positive impact on the community. He is currently focused on tackling the challenging problem of Turbulence Simulation using Machine Learning. With a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Bharati Vidyapeeth, he has gained extensive knowledge and experience in the field of Data Science. Himanshu has a strong background in Machine Learning and has completed an internship at Bharati Vidyapeeth, where he collaborated with a Research Professor to gain a deeper understanding of planetary surfaces with incomplete datasets. He was able to predict the chemical composition of Mercury's unseen portion using chemical data and optimized the model to obtain an impressive R2 score of 87%. In his free time, Himanshu enjoys writing blogs and helping other students explore the exciting world of Data Science. He has served as a mentor for GirlScript, where he successfully helped more than 20 students complete their Machine Learning and Deep Learning projects. He also contributed to open-source projects and merged pull requests during a three-month-long program.
