Himanshu Malaiya is an experienced Process Engineer currently working at Ingenero Technologies as the Manager of Process Technology. With over 12 years of relevant experience, Himanshu has a diverse skill set that includes project management, technical support, and business development. At Ingenero, Himanshu manages multiple teams that provide technical support to Ethylene Manufacturing Facility and handle multiple projects simultaneously, including IPOG, Digitalization, and Debottleneck, for multiple clients. He is also responsible for supporting the Business Development Team and developing presentations for marketing various services/delivery systems. Himanshu's expertise in process optimization is evident in his leadership of the Intelligent Process Optimization Group (IPOG™) team. He leads the team in providing technical support to Naphtha Cracker (Ethylene Manufacturing Facility) and downstream Pygas unit. He also performs unit monitoring, troubleshoots process problems, and conducts plant-wide steady-state process simulation using Aspen Hysys, Aspen Plus & HTRI. Additionally, he conducts unit-wide Debottleneck studies and develops Statistical Benchmarking Models for process equipment (Calculating “Remaining Useful Life”). In addition to his work on the IPOG team, Himanshu also leads the Digitization Team in building software solutions (Web/Excel Based Dashboards) for complex wide (20-30 Chemical plant) Energy Intensity Calculation and Ethylene Cracker Furnace Decoke Operation Monitoring and Optimization. Himanshu has also worked on several special projects, including the detail engineering of a Gas cracker plant. In this project, he performed adequacy checks on Control Valves and Flow Elements, conducted line hydraulics calculations to check process line adequacy, reviewed P&ID, and conducted Alarm & interlocks review and HAZOP Study. Himanshu holds a B.Tech in Chemical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur. He also has experience working as a Senior Process Engineer and Process Engineer at Ingenero.
