Himanshu Malhotra is a self-taught software developer with a passion for designing and developing the backend of large-scale applications. He is currently working as an SDE 2 at Atlassian, where he continues to expand his knowledge and expertise in the field. With over 5 years of relevant experience, Himanshu has worked with some of the biggest names in the industry, including Flipkart and HackerEarth. During his time at Flipkart, he was responsible for designing and developing a platform from scratch to support the retraining of various machine learning and statistical models across the Search org. He also worked in the Search (spellcheck) team to improve the efficiency of the spellcheck algorithm, which helped to improve the search results. Himanshu is highly skilled in a range of programming languages, including Java and Python, and is proficient in working with frameworks such as Django and Gusty. He is also experienced in working with orchestration tools such as Apache Airflow and queuing systems like RabbitMQ. Himanshu's educational background includes a Bachelor of Technology (BTech) in Computer Science from Jaypee University, where he graduated in 2017. Prior to that, he completed his high school education at Salwan Public School in 2012.
