Jai Mishra is an AWS Lead at Cisco with a passion for technology and a drive to innovate. With over 3 years of relevant experience, he is an AWS SME and a certified AWS Solutions Architect (ASA). Jai is also a skilled Python, IOT, and AWS trainer, with a strong background in coding, analysis, troubleshooting, and project development. In his current role at Cisco, Jai is leading AWS Cloud Security for the Cisco Umbrella project, creating and deploying solutions for AWS infrastructure involving services such as Lambda, CloudWatch, ECS, IAM, Config, GuardDuty, Cognito, Organizations, CloudTrail, VPC, EC2, KMS, ACM, S3, EBS, and more. He investigates security threats using Splunk, JIRA, Qualys, and StreamLine, creates documentation and scripts for AWS-related automations using Python and AWS SDK, and trains and ramps up teams on AWS. Prior to joining Cisco, Jai worked at Amazon as a Cloud Associate - Cloud Security, where he worked on highly complex problems spanning multiple AWS services. He was part of the Cloud Security team, handling issues with cloud security and carving out solutions and recommendations to make the Cloud infrastructure more secure, resilient, and available. Jai also worked as a DevOps and Machine Learning Engineer at Cognizant, where he worked on data center migration for AmeriHealth Customer and wrote automation scripts in Python and Bash, using tools and technologies such as Docker, Jenkins, AWS, Ansible, Git, and more. Jai holds a Bachelor of Technology (BTech) in Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering from Jaypee Institute of Information Technology, Noida. His tech stack includes AWS, Python, Senior Software Engineer, ML, Jupyter, infra, ECS, DevOps, Javascript, Web, Ansible, Docker, Jenkins, and more.
