Jason Wang is a highly experienced software engineer with a passion for designing and developing cutting-edge applications. With over 7 years of relevant experience, Jason has honed his skills in a variety of areas, including Kubernetes, Istio, mobile development, and UI design. Currently working at Statsig as a software engineer, Jason has developed REST APIs that serve the core data center inventory management (DCIM) app in client centers. He has also integrated a third-party DCIM tool that specifically manages virtual machines into their J2EE framework. Jason has worked closely with project managers on requirements and improved/modified previous app functions and UI design. He has migrated to cloud-based development on IBM’s PaaS (Bluemix) and brought a new mobile-first interactive design. Prior to his current role, Jason has worked as a software engineer at Google and as a consulting software engineer at Red Hat. During his time at Google, Jason has developed a deep understanding of software engineering and has honed his skills in designing and developing scalable applications. At Red Hat, he provided consulting services to clients and helped them implement best practices in software development. Jason holds a Bachelor's Degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where he studied computer science. He is a proficient software engineer and designer with a strong understanding of Kubernetes and Istio. Jason is passionate about staying up-to-date with the latest trends in technology and is always looking for new and innovative ways to improve his skills and knowledge.
