Jatin Lamba is a talented and driven Software Developer currently working at Edge Focus Partners. He is a senior undergraduate student majoring in Computer Science and Engineering at the prestigious Indian Institute of Technology Bombay, set to graduate in May 2021. Jatin is passionate about Software Engineering, Quantitative Finance, and Deep Learning, and has gained valuable experience in these areas through various internships and projects. His current BTech project involves modeling high-level interactions between visual and audio entities for video parsing, demonstrating his expertise in the field. During his summer internship at Adobe Research, Jatin worked on multimodal information retrieval systems using deep neural networks. He formulated a new multimodal information retrieval task to enable better consumption of documents and built a cascaded pipeline using existing and novel transformer-based architectures to produce ranked answer candidates. Jatin's previous internship at the Institute of Computer Science, Technische Universität Braunschweig, saw him researching memory reclamation using hazard pointers. Jatin's education history includes a Bachelor of Technology degree in Computer Science from the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay. He has also worked as a Teaching Assistant for the course "Computer Programming and Utilization (CS 101)" running for master's students under Prof. Supratim Biswas.
