Job Thomas is an experienced On Demand CIO, Fractional CIO, and Virtual CIO with over 35 years of experience in driving overall IT strategy and IT operations. He has a proven track record of defining IT roadmaps, budgeting, technology evaluation, and evangelization, building scalable applications on the cloud, and executing multi-million dollar, multi-location projects. Job has worked with several organizations such as Electronic Technology Company in Bangalore, Funskool India Limited & MRF Limited in Chennai, Coca-Cola India, and Smartlinx VoIP Networks in Hyderabad before starting his own consulting firm, Virtual CIO Consulting Services in Hyderabad. In the past 9 years, his organization has been in consulting roles that include ERP implementation, digital transformation, AI/ML evaluation, IT governance for financial services, PMO for e-governance, PMO for a GSP service provider, application management service for a university, and virtual CIO for manufacturing SMEs. In the past, Job has worked with Funskool as a Systems Analyst/Programmer, where he established the IT function for the organization, designed, developed, and deployed business applications, and implemented systems and procedures across the organization. He has also worked with Electronic Technology Company Pvt Ltd as an Analyst/Programmer, where he worked on computing share application and share allocation for a leasing company, Indian language (Kannada) data processing, and BOM maintenance for an infrastructure company building mini cement plants. Job holds a PGD in PM&IR from St Joseph's College of Business Administration, Bangalore, a BSc in Mathematics from the University of Calicut, and a BSc in Mathematics from Christ College, Irinjalakuda, Kerala.
