Kantha Moorthy Selvam is a highly experienced Technical Architect with over 14 years of experience in software engineering on architecture, design, and development for enterprise desktop and web-based applications. He has worked on multiple databases and spatial data in Microsoft technologies and has designed and developed domain-based solutions for transportation, supply chain, e-governance, utilities, oil & gas, real estate, and risk management. Kantha has won large bids by providing cost-effective and feasible GIS solutions, software & hardware sizing, estimation, and commercials for major Indian GIS-based bids such as CBDT, RVNL, VOCPT, Nagpur Smart City, etc. He has experience in building a common platform to integrate ERP, BI & other legacy systems with GIS systems. Kantha has good experience on various GIS suites such as ESRI ArcGIS, Intergraph GeoMedia, Autodesk, Hitachi GeoMation, and Open GIS in Microsoft & Java Technologies. He is skilled in rapidly designing & building domain-based prototype applications for demonstration to potential prospects and existing clients. Kantha has worked with L&T as a Sr. Technical Architect and Technical Architect, where he played a role as a Techno Manager on providing complete solutions and worked on development for GIS projects and large value bids for both domestic and overseas clients. He coordinated & worked with domain experts & SME’s to develop domain solutions and building a common platform to integrate ERP, BI & other legacy systems with GIS systems. Kantha holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Computer Science from the University of Madras. He is a senior software engineer with expertise in Java, web, and infra. With over 20.05 years of relevant experience, Kantha is currently working as a Technical Architect at ProPhoenix Corporation.
