Kapil Kumar Trivedi is a Site Reliability Engineer at Priceline with over 3 years of experience in managing platform infrastructure and applications using Terraform. He actively participates in solution architectural meetings with cloud vendors and consulting partners, deploying, configuring, and managing resources on GCP that host enterprise applications using compute, storage, networking, and other Google cloud tools. Kapil has hands-on experience with GCP cloud services such as Compute Engine, GCP Firewall, VPC, GKE, GCS, and IAM, and maintains Terraform modules for compute resources. He also manages granular permission on cloud resources using Terraform and leverages HarshiCorp vault for secret management. Kapil is skilled in Python and .NET web application development, Linux, Ansible, shell scripting, Puppet, SaltStack, Kubernetes administration, Terraform, VMWare, GCP, and AliCloud. Prior to his current role, he has worked as a C# web developer, system administrator, freelancer, entrepreneur, and teacher, which has given him a broad range of experiences. Kapil has a Master of Computer Applications degree from the University of Mumbai and a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology from the same university. He is passionate about learning and exploring new technologies and hopes to work as a Technical Architect and work with a diverse team in the future. In his spare time, Kapil enjoys teaching, exploring music, and finding new things to learn. He has worked as a Senior Tech Specialist and Tech Specialist in DevOps at General Mills before joining Priceline.
