Prior to co-founding Salad, Karishma worked at Swvl, where she held several key positions, including Head of Global Customer Experience & Engagement, Retail & Travel, and Strategic Projects Sr. Manager - Global Retail Growth. During her time at Swvl, Karishma was responsible for managing marketing budgets of over $10 million, allocating marketing spend to maximize ROI on every dollar spent, and experimenting with new offerings to drive growth. Karishma holds a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) degree in Economics from Miranda House, University of Delhi. Her educational background, combined with her extensive work experience, has equipped her with the skills and knowledge necessary to excel in her role as co-founder at Salad.
