Karthik K.K is a Lead Test Automation Consultant with over 12 years of experience in Software Automation Testing. He is currently based in Auckland, New Zealand and is passionate about exploring new tools and technologies that enable automation. Karthik has extensive experience in architecting frameworks for Mobile (Native and Hybrid), Web, Windows, and Web services-based applications. He is proficient in various automation tools and languages such as Selenium, QTP, VS Coded UI, Ranorex, Test Complete, Specflow, Cucumber, Protractor, TestProject, Katalon Studio, Appium, Robotium, Calabash, Espresso, Selendroid, Xamarin, C#, Java, Ruby, Powershell, VBScript, Javascript, Typescript, NodeJS, Mockito, Rest-assured, and Bound-Box. He also has a sound understanding of concepts such as BDD, TDD, Parallel and Async Programming, Entity Framework, MVC, and LINQ. Currently, Karthik is working as a Lead Test Automation Consultant at Kiwibank, where he is responsible for designing and developing automation frameworks with Selenium Java and Cucumber. He is also responsible for leading the automation team to create daily scenarios and reporting. He has tested the complete E2E cloud platform of their product and works cohesively with the team by creating and sharing knowledge to make everyone on the same page. In the past, Karthik has worked as a Test Automation Consultant at Westpac and as a Sr Automation Test Engineer at ASB Bank. At Westpac, he worked on releases that enabled their NZ customers to use the Westpac online banking website. At ASB Bank, he worked on NZ's first-ever Open Banking pilot project and successfully launched it. Karthik holds a B-Tech degree in Information Technology from Anna University. His mission and vision are always automation, and he aims to improve automation capabilities to bring ROI and ROE to both employers and employees and bring down expenditure made on testing. His specialties include Automation Framework Design and Development, and he has domain knowledge in Security, Networking, HRMS, Healthcare, ERP, and CRM.
