Karthik P is a seasoned technology leader with over 14 years of experience in the software industry. He is currently serving as the Sr Director of Engineering - RRA & Sales ops at commerceiq, where he is responsible for driving engineering excellence and innovation in the company's retail revenue analytics and sales operations. Karthik has a diverse professional background, having worked with some of the biggest names in the tech industry, including Microsoft, Samsung, and Groupon. At Microsoft, he served as the Principal Engineering Manager, where he was responsible for improving the Autofill experience in MS Edge. He streamlined the manual process of measuring improvements to Autofill precision and recall, identified and made several micro-improvements to improve metrics for tracking and measuring issues with Autofill, and enhanced On-demand Autofill and Custom Data capabilities to increase average data saved in the browser by users. He also led the Autofill service scaling effort, which increased the QPS from 35-40K to 95-200K. At Samsung, Karthik served as the Senior Engineering Manager, where he managed multiple development teams owning most of the backend of Samsung ECommerce EStore for 15 countries, which make up 70% of the overall Samsung eStore sales globally. He also managed the Mobile App development team owning the Samsung Shop app for India and the DevOps team owning the infrastructure for the SWA region. He spearheaded the technical rollout of the eStore for GBR and worked on-site during the UAT and rollout phase, ensuring a smooth rollout that became the foundation for the rest of the EU rollouts. Karthik holds a B.Tech degree in IT from the College of Engineering Guindy, Chennai.
