Karthik SP is a Principal Field Applications Engineer at National Instruments, with a focus on accelerating systems-level opportunities in the APAC region, particularly in Aerospace, Defense, and Government (ADG) accounts. With over 16 years of experience in the industry, Karthik is passionate about learning new ways to deliver customer success and building strong relationships with clients. Karthik has gained wide exposure to understand and serve a varied customer base in Government and Commercial Aerospace, having previously worked at Moog Aircraft Group and Honeywell Inc. He has experience across multiple functions within the business, which has helped him understand the customer journey and the importance of breaking down barriers between functions to improve the customer experience and ultimately increase the customer’s likelihood to succeed. In his current role, Karthik works with technologists, researchers, scientists, engineers, and technical managers to help them increase productivity. He is accountable for generating and executing on technical demand while becoming a trusted technical advisor for key customers. This requires not only technical leadership but also strong interpersonal and relationship development skills, customer-facing experience, business acumen, and personal drive. Karthik has a Master of Technology in Mechatronics from the National Institute of Technology Karnataka and a Bachelor of Technology in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Sri Venkateswara University. He is skilled in test and control systems in Automotive, Space, Defense, and Aerospace domains.
