Karthikeyan Subbaraj is a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer at Google with a passion for solving complex problems. He has a wealth of experience in databases, data structures, software design, and building scalable systems. Currently working in one of the YouTube teams in Bangalore, Karthikeyan's career has taken him to some of the biggest names in the tech industry. Prior to joining Google, he worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Microsoft in Bing Ads. Here, he was responsible for various real-time and near real-time services such as Fraud Detection and Policy violation detection. He was also involved in implementing a new data flow architecture to reduce overall latency and improve system maintainability. Karthikeyan also has experience in managing teams, having worked as an Associate Director at MakeMyTrip. Here, he designed and implemented a Multi-Mode Route Planner system that identifies optimal routes between any two cities or towns in India. He also managed a team of eight members to build a Progressive Web App and associated backend components for MakeMyTrip, enhancing the user experience on mobile browsers. Karthikeyan's education background includes a B.Tech in Electronics Engineering from Madras Institute of Technology, Anna University. He has a strong technical skill set, including expertise in software engineering, backend development, Android, mobile, and web development.
