He is currently working at Microsoft as a Senior Software Engineer, where he has been instrumental in building data platforms and cloud-native solutions. Kasif has a strong technical background and is proficient in a wide range of technologies, including Azure, HDFS, Apache Flink, Apache Kafka, Apache Spark, Map Reduce, Avro, Parquet, Hive, Pig, Java, and Python. He has hands-on experience in building both batch and streaming ingestion pipelines for Data Lake. Prior to joining Microsoft, Kasif worked as a Vice President at Goldman Sachs and as a Calypso Developer at Emirates. In both roles, he demonstrated his ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and deliver innovative solutions that met business needs. Kasif holds a Master of Technology degree in Data Science from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani, and a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Computer Science from Rajiv Gandhi Prodyogiki Vishwavidyalaya.
