Kesavan Thiruvenkadasamy is a highly motivated and driven individual with a passion for contributing to exciting projects that utilize his strong technical knowledge and computer programming skills. Currently serving as a Member Of Technical Staff at Pure Storage's subsidiary, Portworx, Kesavan has over 6 years of relevant experience in the software engineering industry. Kesavan's previous experience includes working as a Software Engineer at Red Hat, where he was involved in the development of operators for Red Hat Openshift Container Storage. His expertise in Golang, Kubernetes, Rook, Ceph, Operator SDK, and Kubebuilder was instrumental in his ability to deploy and manage software-defined storage using Kubernetes operator to provide persistent storage for workloads running in Openshift. Kesavan was a core contributor and maintainer of the ocs-osd-deployer project, which is an operator to deploy and manage Openshift container storage components in Openshift dedicated platforms. He also implemented reconciler logic to manage the lifecycle of Openshift container storage and managed a dedicated monitoring stack, configuring it with PagerDuty, SendGrid, and Dead Man's Snitch services. Additionally, Kesavan was involved in building SOP for the SRE team ocs-sop and containerizing the test suite to execute periodic runs against the ocs-osd-deployer by integrating it with CI pipeline. Prior to his role at Red Hat, Kesavan worked as a Senior System Engineer at Infosys. He holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Computer Science from Sri Krishna College of Technology. Kesavan's technical expertise includes software engineering, AWS, Kubernetes, Docker, SRE, Python, testing, Golang, SQL, Azure, Databricks, Spark, Apache Airflow, and MySQL.
