Keshav Mittal is a highly skilled software engineer with a diverse background in some of the most prominent companies in the tech industry. With over 2.77 years of relevant experience, Keshav is currently working at Google as a Software Engineer. Prior to joining Google, Keshav has worked with companies like Goldman Sachs, PayPal, and Amazon, where he has contributed his expertise in software development, UI, web, Hadoop, and Apache Hive. During his tenure at Goldman Sachs, Keshav designed and developed the Notification Service from scratch, a Windows Application (Service + UI) that securely runs with elevated privileges on all corporate laptops. He also performed Apple macOS Management at the enterprise level using JAMF tools, provided Mac Workplace Services to the end-users while working on imaging, application packaging, and implementation/managing for Apple’s macOS. In addition, he designed & developed Uninstaller Utility for macOS, which reduced packaging time by 75% and reduced ticket volume & turnaround time by 50% by providing concise end-user & Helpdesk documentation. As an SDE Intern at PayPal, Keshav worked on developing ideas to integrate Honey with PayPal, one of which was adding the 'checkout' button in Honey's extension to increase the number of users checking out with PayPal, hence increasing revenue. He also built the 'checkout' functionality in the Honey extension and worked on Hadoop and Hive, developing an endpoint for an internal tool that helps developers view the information directly on the website without entering database commands to retrieve the information manually. Keshav holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani - Goa Campus, and a minor in Finance. He is a problem solver and has a can-do attitude. Keshav believes that he doesn't know everything, but if someone comes to him with a problem, he will find out a solution and let them know.
