Keshav Sharma is a passionate software developer with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani. He is currently working as a Software Engineer at ServiceNow, where he is part of the Vulnerability Response team under Security Ops. Engineering Department. Keshav has a strong background in Object Oriented Design, Data Structures & Algorithms, Operating Systems, and DBMS. He is a keen problem solver with a thirst for knowledge and enhancing his skills. He has a keen interest in mathematics, physics, and information retrieval. Keshav has 1.6 years of relevant experience in the industry. Prior to his current role, he worked as a Software Development Engineer at Amazon, where he was part of the WW Concessions Tech in the Consumer Engagement Tech (CET) Org responsible for handling 9B+ of yearly Concessions (150M+ contacts) for retails orders worldwide in 21 marketplaces handling 650B calls/traffic. He designed HLDs, LLDs (Full Stack), and implemented new use cases such as Promo Gift Cards, Retrocharge Refunds/Disarms, and Returns & Refunds on the new AC3 platform built on React, Graphql frontend, and Coral, Java backend integrated with 75+ Tier-1 services of Amazon. He reduced Concessions abuse by restricting refunds for abuse use cases, thereby decreasing spending by $9M annually. Keshav also orchestrated the scaling, readiness, and handled all peak-related activities of the Backend services for the Retail Customer Service space, which enabled them to process 4000 requests per second during 2022 Q4 Peak. Keshav has also worked as a Software Development Engineer Intern at Amazon, where he improved the availability of 2 Major APIs of the service from 90% to 99.95% by debugging and handling various exceptions. He identified and improved latencies of major APIs of the service, thereby contributing to the Tier-1 Readiness of the legacy system. He reduced data leakage by scrubbing logs of critical user information as part of a security mandate to mitigate security risks. Keshav is proficient in several technologies, including Javascript, Backend, Java, Frontend, AWS, Docker, Tensorflow, Pandas, MySQL, Spring, Integration, NodeJS, and Python. He is also a Piano player and has a strong love for Western classical music.
