Kinjal Dasgupta is a Research and Development Engineer at HCL Engineering and R&D Services, with a focus on Computer Vision and Deep Learning for various projects. With over 5 years of industry experience, Kinjal has expertise in Visual Scene Understanding, Image Processing, Printing, and Document analysis. In her current role, Kinjal is a member of the Imaging Tech Lab of Engineering and R&D Services (ERS) Division, where she focuses on Document Image Analysis and OCR. Kinjal collaborates with engineers and researchers across multiple sites to develop innovative solutions for complex problems. Prior to her current role, Kinjal worked as a Research Assistant at the Indian Statistical Institute and as a Research Project Intern at the Indian Institute of Information Technology Guwahati, where she worked on QoS prediction using collaborative filtering. Kinjal holds a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering Technologies/Technicians from the Heritage Institute of Technology and completed her secondary education at Ballygunge Govt. High School.
