Kunal Gupta is the Co-Founder and CEO of EMotorad, a company that manufactures affordable electric bikes for a cleaner, greener, and healthier commute. With a passion for solving customers' pain points, Kunal has been on a journey of entrepreneurship since he was a young boy selling greeting cards to earn enough money to buy his own ice creams. He started his first company, MyRide, to provide mobility to his fellow college mates by offering bikes on rent. After two years, MyRide was acquired by ONN Bikes, where Kunal played the role of Co-Founder and COO, scaling the business to a team of 200+ in 11 cities with a valuation of 250 crores in just four years. With the excitement to build more sustainable and global business, Kunal exited ONN and founded EMotorad. His goal is to change the commute habits of people by providing them with futuristic affordable electric bikes. Kunal's experience in scaling a business and replicating a business model across demographies has been instrumental in the success of EMotorad. Kunal has a degree in Civil Engineering from Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj Nagpur University and a PGDM in Finance and Financial Management Services from the National Institute of Construction Management & Research. He has also completed the Scaling a Business course from Wharton Executive Education. Kunal's relevant experience in the industry is 6.44 years.
