Kushagra Gusain is a Research Staff Member at Bharat Electronics Limited with a passion for developing critical Defence and Aerospace applications. He has extensive experience working in agile and CMMI software development environments. Kushagra is an exceptional problem solver and enjoys devising better problem-solving methods for challenging tasks. He has a keen interest in learning new technologies and tools to enhance his skills. Currently, Kushagra is working as a Software Developer at BHEL where he writes efficient and scalable code in C++ for the application software. He is responsible for the development of an aerial object identification algorithm and has designed and implemented a multithreaded mechanism to fasten the identification process while avoiding data loss. He has also developed a hash table for storing real-time data, thus reducing search and retrieval time. Kushagra has worked on optimizing an algorithm to enclose a path with a polygon, thereby reducing time complexity. He is currently building the Flight Data Processing System from scratch for the Civil Air Traffic Management System and processing over 20 messages from the Aeronautical telecommunication network. Kushagra has also worked on the development of a collision detection algorithm for civil flights. In the past, Kushagra has worked as an iOS Developer at Kilobyte Technologies, where he developed iOS applications with Swift and Rest APIs for a live sports scorer application. He has also worked on backend development on Laravel for a web application working as a management software for academic institutions. Kushagra holds a Master of Technology in Computer Science from NIT Hamirpur, which he completed in 2020. He also has a Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science from Bipin Chandra Tripathi Kumaon Engineering College, which he completed in 2017. Kushagra's tech stack includes Research Scientist, iOS, Software Engineer, Polygon, Backend, Search, Swift, and Web. With 2.35 years of relevant experience, Kushagra is an excellent asset to any team.
