Lakkappa is currently working at Visa as a Senior Software Engineer where he is responsible for developing new features, fixing bugs, refactoring legacy code, and improving the overall experience of the platform. He is also involved in determining solutions for complex issues across several parts of the platform including micro-services, RESTful APIs, and core features. Additionally, Lakkappa handles technical troubleshooting and root-cause analysis of customer issues to resolve bugs and help deliver fixes for their support team. Prior to his current role, Lakkappa worked at Dell as a Software Engineer 2 where he gained experience in Core Java/ J2EE, Spring REST, Spring boot, Hibernate, Spring Cloud, Pivotal Cloud Foundry, RabbitMQ, MYSQL, Postgres DB, and front-end technologies such as JQuery, Javascript, and Angular 4. Before joining Dell, Lakkappa worked at Hewlett Packard as a Technology Consultant.
