Lokesh Gupta is a highly self-motivated individual with over 9 years of experience in building teams, creating processes, improving performance metrics, data-driven decision making, managing and nurturing resources, and business strategy. Currently, he is the Vice President - Supply Chain at Wakefit, leading end-to-end supply chain management, retail store (COCO) expansion, and Multi-brand outlet (MBO) network. Lokesh has created a company-owned supply chain network from scratch catering to a INR 1000 Cr+ business. He has built warehousing, first mile, middle mile, and last-mile delivery capabilities to save on costs, increase speed, and unlock the capability to deliver/install furniture and expanded it to 23 cities. He has also started an in-house training center (Gurukul) to solve the problem of fitter availability at a feasible cost and churned 250+ skilled fitters reducing installation costs by ~25%. Lokesh has reduced the 3PL costs by 20% through a cost-based fulfillment model and negotiations on specific lanes. He has generated a revenue run rate of INR 100 Cr by opening 10 stores and leading the organization to enter the retail business. He has successfully completed the first phase of the project within 4 months in 8 cities and created a dealer network by onboarding 150+ resellers in South India and generating a revenue run rate of INR 25 Cr. Before joining Wakefit, Lokesh worked as an Independent political strategist for multiple clients in Telangana Assembly Elections, Lok Sabha Elections, and Delhi Assembly Elections. He has also worked as a Senior Manager-Process Excellence & Operations at Tapzo, where he created processes, defined KRAs & performance evaluation metrics for different levels in Chat-ops and customer success. Lokesh has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in International Business from Fore School of Management, New Delhi, and a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Computer Science from Maharshi Dayanand University. He has also worked as a Senior Software Engineer and Research Scientist.
