Previously, he was the Chief Information Officer of Maverick Capital, where he oversaw the company's technology operations and played a key role in driving its growth and success. Prior to his role at Maverick Capital, Mahesh held several leadership positions at HBK Capital Management, where he was responsible for core software development and trading systems. He also worked as a Principal Engineer for Symantec in Austin, TX, and as a Senior Software Engineer and Technical Lead of International Research & Development for National Instruments. Mahesh holds a B.S. and M.S. in Computer Science from The University of Texas at Austin, where he graduated with highest honors and was a member of Phi Beta Kappa. He is also listed as an inventor on seven U.S. patents, showcasing his strong technical expertise and innovative mindset.
